Bang & Olufsen launches new 40in TV with built-in 3D Blu-ray player

So far as we’re concerned, one of the coolest things about Bang & Olufsen’s position as a brand able to deliver ‘money’s no object’ designs is that it can build things inside other things. And that’s especially cool when this involves a 3D Blu-ray player being built inside a gorgeous 40in TV, like you get with the new BeoVision 7-40.

As well as its integrated 3D Blu-ray player and active 3D playback, the 40in BeoVision 7-40 features a new LCD panel that uses a two-sided edge LED backlight with 1.5D local dimming. Naturally the set also enjoys the outstanding audio power that’s now pretty much a B&O TV trademark.
